Heading off to Loon Mountain for a few days, so no Olympians of the Day (or anything else, for that matter) until Tuesday night. Fortunately, the entire U.S. team, with the exception of Joey Cheek and Pete Fenson's curling rink, has given me no reason to feel like I'll be missing out. Oy.
And yes, I realize Shani Davis won a gold medal. And I also realize the historical significance of what he did (first African-American to win in an individual event). But because he acted like a complete assclown afterward, he's disqualified. Sorry Shani, there's a reason they didn't put your name on the back of your uniform.
