It's not very often that big games match the hype that led up to them. Usually, they end up blowouts, or just plain ugly. Yesterday's game between Notre Dame and USC was different. Everyone knew this would be the marquee matchup of the day. Nobody knew that it would become the greatest game, in any sport, of the year, and perhaps this century. I'll be telling my grandkids about this game someday. Bill Plaschke has more.
